Ghost Company was a unit of Republic clone troopers that served within the 212th Attack Battalion of Commander Cody's 7th Sky Corps during the Clone Wars. Frequently, Commander Cody himself would lead this company. The armor worn by these clone troopers was distinguished by orange markings.
When the Confederacy of Independent Systems launched an invasion of Ryloth and subsequently enslaved the Twi'lek population, the Republic launched a daring operation to liberate them. Jedi General Anakin Skywalker working with his Padawan, Commander Ahsoka Tano, successfully eliminated the Separatist blockade orbiting the planet under the direction of Captain Mar Tuuk. This allowed the Acclamator-class assault ships to proceed with the invasion and liberate the world.
Led by General Obi-Wan Kenobi alongside Clone Marshal Commander Cody, Ghost Company embarked on gunships with the objective of landing in the city of Nabat. However, intense barrage from proton cannons compelled the Acclamator transports to withdraw, leaving Ghost Company with the task of neutralizing the cannons to enable the transports to land, resulting in significant losses. Following an encounter with malnourished gutkurrs, the unit encountered the young Twi'lek Numa, who offered to guide them to the Twi'lek prisoners being exploited as "living shields" by Tactical droid commander TX-20. Ghost Company orchestrated a distraction, while troopers Waxer and Boil assisted Obi-Wan in freeing the hostages and destroying the proton cannons.
