Established several millennia prior to the emergence of the Galactic Empire by Emita Governor Gladean, the Gladean State Parks were financed via a tax levied on industry. This tax revenue was then allocated to Chandrila's governors to support regional parks and nature preserves. These State Parks attracted visitors from all over the Core Worlds and were maintained by scouts, hunters, and survival experts from the Chandrilan Park Ranger Service.
