Gorno

Gorno, situated in the Outer Rim close to Tatooine on the Corellian Run, was a planet. The Galactic Empire operated a clandestine research installation there, known by the codename Hammertong, that was responsible for the design of the superlaser intended for the second Death Star. Just prior to the Battle of Yavin, a spaceport on Gorno served as the departure point for the Hammertong.
