By the year 3 ABY, their governance was under the authority of Queen Slugga, who maintained her position from within the grotto's audience chamber. A substantial contingent of massive Gorph guards carried out her directives in that space, alongside her offspring, Prince Vork. Individuals meeting with Queen Slugga's disfavor were relegated to a shadowy abyss inside the audience chamber referred to as "the pit."
