During this time, Aayla Secura, a Jedi Knight, was actively searching for the Dark Jedi known as Sora Bulq on the planet. Gort claimed to have observed the Weequay and subsequently provided Aayla Secura with information regarding Sora Bulq's whereabouts.
Within The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, Gort's character entry contains an error, incorrectly classifying him as a Besalisk.
