Gravity Well (swoopchasing)
A challenging obstacle known as a Gravity Well was a Bank fence of Expert difficulty found in the sport of swoopchasing. This fence required riders to leap over a trench containing repulsor field generators, devices designed to pull both the rider and their swoop downwards. Those racers who failed to successfully execute the jump would plummet into a pit, often filled with wreckage from prior unsuccessful attempts. Due to the high probability of severe injury or death, rescue teams generally avoided responding to accidents at this particular obstacle.
