Great Pyramid

The unusual, five-sided Great Pyramid of Rafa V served as the final resting place for the Mindharp of Sharu. The structure's corners, built at peculiar angles between each face, gave an unbalanced appearance. Each side, including the flattened altar at its peak, was built with a different color, using a palette of magenta, apricot, mustard, aquamarine, turquoise, and lavender stone. The only way to get inside the pyramid was through the Key of the Overpeople, which allowed one to "entrance without entering." If the Key was properly inserted into the Great Lock, the Bearer of the Key could pass through the pyramid's walls. Once the pyramid deemed the Bearer ready, it guided them to a spiraling tunnel that descended, where the history of the Rafa system was etched. This historical record spanned from the early days of the Sharu until it opened into The Hall, where the Mindharp was stored. The rest of Sharu's history was shown on the walls of this chamber, and anyone wanting the Mindharp had to see all the exhibits before getting to it.

In 4 BBY, Lando Calrissian, Vuffi Raa, and Mohs journeyed inside the pyramid. As Calrissian got near the Mindharp, his size was diminished. The pyramid's power blinded Mohs, the High Singer, but it also gave him a "sight" that went beyond what mortals could know. When Lando and Vuffi Raa came back with the Mindharp, they were shocked to find out that they had been inside the Great Pyramid for almost four months, even though it felt like only a few hours to them.
