The ancient settlement known as the Great Zhell, which later became the city of Zhell, was situated on a high mountain on the planet Notron. This planet served as the original home for both the Taung and the Human species. Although the city was named in honor of the Humans' Thirteen Nations of Zhell, these technologically underdeveloped people were unaware that their city was constructed atop a volcano. During the conflict between the two species, the Taung forces, under the command of Rexutu the Unconquerable, captured the city. Nevertheless, the Taung suffered significant casualties, leading the Zhell to initiate a siege of the city, amassing a considerable army at the mountain's base. As dawn broke, the Zhell prepared to attack, but the volcano erupted, causing widespread disarray among their ranks. Capitalizing on the Zhell's confusion, the Taung launched their own assault, later celebrating this victory in the epic poem Dha Werda Verda. Subsequently, the Zhell regrouped and successfully expelled the Taung from the planet.
