Greg Bear

Gregory Dale Bear, born on August 20, 1951 and passing away on November 19, 2022, was an American writer, known for both science fiction and mainstream novels, including Rogue Planet. His literary creations often explored subjects such as battles in galactic settings (as seen in the Forge of God books), simulated realities (such as the Eon series), the nature of awareness and societal norms, and rapid evolutionary processes (illustrated in Blood Music, Darwin's Radio, and Darwin's Children).
