Gurke, a Gamorrean inhabitant of Anchorhead on the planet Tatooine, existed during the era of the Jedi Civil War. He frequently devoted his time to hunting Krayt dragons with the intent to kill them. After realizing that these creatures were too difficult to kill, he organized a group of Gamorrean hunters, including Narkal and [Ugzak], who engaged in robbery and murder within the Dune Sea. On one such expedition, he threatened the life of Revan, but was convinced to spare him. Gurke considered Narkal unintelligent, and often told him to be quiet.
The player has multiple options for interacting with Gurke and his group: peaceful resolution, bribery, or combat, depending on the player's choices.
When the player meets Gurke at the hunting lodge, they can use the Force to silence him, provoke him with insults until he departs, or offer compliments. Choosing the insult option, where Revan says "hold your tongues or I'll rip them out," will result in the acquisition of Dark Side points.
Regardless of the chosen interaction, the ambush following the speeder accident will still occur.
