Gyran, a male Human bounty hunter, was employed by the criminal syndicate known as Black Sun.
Once a royal protector for a spice lord on Sevarcos II, Gyran's services were acquired by Prince Xizor during a business excursion. His time with Black Sun, which involved travel to many new planets, resulted in the development of agoraphobia, a slight fear of expansive areas. He possessed his own vessel, the Arc Razor, which he used for personal travel.
He and his associates were tasked with locating the Barani List on the world of Sedri.
