Harno

Harno, a big-game hunter of the Rodian species, was forced to leave his homeworld of Rodia after an unintentional killing of a rival, Neevat. He sought refuge on Trandosha, where he began employment with the native Trandoshans, hunting on the neighboring Kashyyyk. However, the indigenous Wookiees placed a bounty on Harno for his role in the deaths of rare species. To avoid being implicated, the Trandoshans also issued a bounty on him, hoping to silence him. Despite these dangers, Harno persisted as a hunter on various worlds, seeking out dangerous game.

Biography

Harno, a male Rodian, was born into a prominent family on the planet of Rodia, a world known for its vast big game preserves. He dedicated his youth to refining his hunting abilities within these preserves, mastering the skills needed to take down dangerous creatures. His peers were in awe of his focus and talent, predicting that he would become a legendary hunter. However, not all admired him; a rival named Neevat started spreading rumors that Harno was tranquilizing his prey before the kill. This rivalry escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in Neevat's accidental death, which forced Harno to flee his homeworld.

Eventually, Harno arrived on Trandosha, where he secured employment with the native Trandoshan species. They hired him to hunt on the nearby planet of Kashyyyk. He undertook numerous expeditions from Trandosha to Kashyyyk, returning with trophies like horns and pelts from rare and dangerous animals for his clients. The Wookiees, the native inhabitants of Kashyyyk, eventually became aware of Harno's activities and put a bounty on his head for hunting endangered species. To distance themselves from the wanted Rodian and ensure his silence, the Trandoshans who had initially hired Harno also placed a bounty on him. This led bounty hunters from both Trandosha and Kashyyyk to pursue him. Despite being a wanted man once again, Harno secretly continued his hunting expeditions to Kashyyyk and other worlds known for their dangerous prey, where his unique skills remained highly sought after, sometimes because of his criminal reputation.

Personality and traits

Harno was a Rodian with green skin, black eyes, and a distinctive scar beneath his right eye. His expertise with blasters, particularly rifles, combined with his intense focus on his prey, made him a quiet and deliberate hunter, completely absorbed in the pursuit. He was determined to overcome any obstacle and constantly pushed his limits. After his exile from Rodia, he vowed to return one day with his honor and reputation restored. To this end, he kept trophies from his most significant kills, intending to present them as proof of his worth to his family back on Rodia.

Harno was offended by the Rodian belief that hunting non-sentients was dishonorable, though he was willing to hunt sentient beings if the situation demanded it. This included bounty hunters who tried to capture him, or anyone who discovered his wanted status. Outside of hunting, Harno was a boisterous and aggressive individual, prone to fits of anger. He wore his criminal status with pride, despite his desire to restore his reputation. Harno was fluent in Basics, Rodese, Huttese and [Gamorrese].

Equipment

Harno's attire included yellow-lensed goggles, a poncho, fingerless gloves, and a specialized hat with openings for his antenna and ears. His primary weapon was a heavy blaster rifle fitted with a bayonet and a targeting scope. He also carried three stun grenades.
