Harvest Day was a recognized holiday throughout the Tapani sector. The first inhabitants of the sector introduced this celebration, but the original reasons behind it were forgotten by the era of the Galactic Civil War. While it was thought that the holiday's initial aim was to mark the gathering of crops, this wasn't definitively known. For the majority of people, it was simply an opportunity to enjoy a day away from their jobs.
