Hayca Mekket's veterinary office

The Mandalorian veterinarian Hayca Mekket ran her medical practice from an office situated in Keldabe, which served as the capital city of Mandalore. While she frequently provided care for nerfs, Mekket's surgical suite was equipped to handle a variety of creatures, including banthas, and even Humans if necessary. Given the lack of technology for blood or cellular analysis at her facility, Mekket outsourced these services to a laboratory located on Concord Dawn, a world nearby. A durasteel plate bearing her name was affixed to the door of Mekket's two-story building; she explained that including her doctorate on the sign would be futile, as nerfs were incapable of reading. Mekket resided with a man on the second floor, above her surgery, and her office typically opened sometime after mid-morning, although she occasionally made exceptions. In 40 ABY, the year when Boba Fett held the title of Mand'alor, he paid a visit to Mekket's clinic. This visit occurred after the veterinarian had been instrumental in stopping a degenerative illness that threatened to kill the aging bounty hunter. During this meeting, Mekket confirmed to Fett that he was completely cured and presented him with the bill for her services, which took the form of a request for a sizable, red quilt.
