A heavy weapon was a type of personal armament that usually needed more than one operator. Often, it made use of additional gear such as portable power generators and tripod mounts, in addition to being mounted on vehicles. The majority of heavy weapons intended for use by infantry could be moved without too much difficulty. Examples like the T-21 light repeating blaster could be carried by a single soldier, but there were others that needed repulsorlift trailers to be moved around.
