A heavy weapons squad denoted a unit within the Imperial Army. Functionally analogous to a typical line squad, heavy weapons squads possessed either a two-soldier medium repeating blaster, a medium repeating blaster operated by three soldiers, or a heavy repeating blaster also operated by a trio.
