Hilton McRae


Hilton McRae, born on December 28, 1949, is a performer hailing from Scotland.

During his time as a student of international law at the University of Edinburgh, McRae found himself drawn to the world of acting through his involvement with the 7:84 Troupe. Upon completing his studies, he became a part of the Royal Shakespeare Company, marking the beginning of an extensive career spanning both the stage and the screen.

He made an appearance in Return of the Jedi, portraying Arvel Crynyd in an uncredited role. Additionally, McRae was among a group of five actors from the Star Wars franchise who also featured in Greystoke - The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes.

Lindsay Duncan, who is McRae's spouse, provided the vocal performance for TC-14 in The Phantom Menace.
