Holocron of Destiny

The Jedi Order formerly utilized a holographic device known as the Holocron of Destiny. Darth Vader indicated that this holocron had served as a training tool for Jedi Apprentices, presenting challenges to those who sought to comprehend the Force's intricacies. This device contained stored memories and posed questions during a journey across the galaxy. It was believed that, once all questions were answered, the holocron would determine the user's fate within the Force.

Production Information

In Star Wars Galaxies, the Holocron of Destiny was awarded as a bonus to players who finished the Empire Strikes Back 30th Anniversary Weekly Item collections. Functioning as a questionnaire, it assessed the player's alignment—light side, dark side, or neutral—based on their responses. The questionnaire consisted of ten questions, each presented upon arrival at a specific planet, with the exceptions of Kashyyyk and Mustafar. Upon completing the questionnaire, players received instructions for either a Yoda costume (Light Side), a Boba Fett costume (Neutral), or a Darth Vader costume (Dark Side). Subsequently, the Holocron of Destiny was permanently removed from the player's inventory.
