A holoposter refers to a poster that uses holographic technology to display its image, typically for advertising.

These were a type of public communication employed by the Galactic Empire. The Empire disseminated holo-posters that included a textfile stating their complete victory and denying the New Republic's claims of brutality as falsehoods.
