Hull scrubber

A type of anti-theft mechanism, known as a hull scrubber, was created for implementation on starships by scientists and technicians situated within the Hapes Cluster in the years succeeding the Swarm War. The functionality of the hull scrubber involved employing regulated discharges of electromagnetic energy to prevent a droid or a homing beacon from adhering to a starship's hull. A limitation associated with the deployment of a hull scrubber was its inability to dislodge pulse-shielded droids, for instance combat droids, capable of defending against the electromagnetic energy.
