Hyperspace surveyor

An occupation akin to a cartographer, a hyperspace surveyor was a person who charted hyperspace routes to link various planets. The Jedi Order once employed hyperspace surveyors to chart a dedicated hyperspace route connecting the Core World of Metellos with Ilum, a world in the Unknown Regions, as Jedi required travel to Ilum for the purpose of acquiring kyber crystals.
