Iann Doaba

Iann Doaba was a Jedi Knight of the Human species, identified as male, and he held the distinction of being among the initial settlers of Socorro.

Biography

Doaba found himself falling in love with Lady Cjaalysce, who was also a colonist. Overcome by jealousy, he committed murder against a rival for Cjaalysce's love. Subsequently, he banished himself to the desert region (later known as the Doaba Badlands), where he underwent a period of hardship known as "the Long Walk."

Shortly after these events, Beal commissioned a portrait of herself, which poignantly displayed her sorrow regarding Doaba. She then ventured into the desert to locate him, but ultimately died. Upon discovering Beal's deceased body, Doaba was overwhelmed with grief, resulting in his physical disappearance, leaving behind only his lightsaber and robes.

Legend states that Doaba's remorseful Force spirit became bound to Beal's portrait, referred to as "Tejha Larel," which translates to "Undying Love" in Old Corellian. The father of Pret Swain came across the portrait amidst the ruins located near Cjaalysce'I. The elder Pret then gifted it to Benoni Ulte, who asserted that he had witnessed Doaba's spirit manifesting as a shadow within the portrait.
