This power was cultivated by the Doomed, who were the offspring of stranded Jedi and Dark Jedi residing on Kesh. Through the use of Ice images, individuals within the Doomed community were able to observe happenings in other locations on the same world. This ability let them keep tabs on the Lost Tribe of Sith and expand their knowledge of Kesh's wildlife, such as the uvaks—winged reptiles that served as mounts. During 2974 BBY, Kaliska, who was the leader of the Doomed, explained to the Sith princess Takara Hilts that they had used this Force-based technique to keep an eye on the territories controlled by the Tribe.
