An iknayid referred to a species of arachnid creatures, lacking sentience, that originated from the swamps found on the planet of Zakuul. The inhabitants of Zakuul, known as Zakuulans, occasionally domesticated iknayids, utilizing them as combatants within gladiatorial contests. A number of preserved iknayid specimens were on exhibit at the Royal Hunting Lodge located on Onderon circa 3627 BBY.
