IMP-22, a military protocol droid of the Imperial forces, was a masculine unit programmed with expertise in both political and military strategies. This skillset rendered him an asset as an advisor to the commander he was assigned to, aided by SD-7 messenger droids. Sporting a humanoid shape, IMP-22 was characterized by his red armor plating and a solitary, white photoreceptor resembling a visor. While demonstrating a hint of arrogance, he appeared to possess unwavering faith in his superior's capabilities. Despite this, IMP-22 consistently provided counsel, though he was prone to impatience if his commander exhibited any perceived lack of skill.
