Following Moff Wilhuff Tarkin's subjugation of Mon Cala, the Galactic Empire sought to create a vessel blending Imperial and Calamari designs. However, Imperial engineers encountered difficulties in modifying Mon Calamari technology and machinery. The endeavor proved insurmountable because manufacturing processes, encompassing smelting methods and arcfusers, were specifically tailored for Mon Cal and Quarren biological traits. Consequently, due to its high cost and ultimate infeasibility, Imperial High Command considered the project unsuccessful.
