An Imperial Center Sanitation Department ID During the Galactic Empire's reign, the Imperial Center Sanitation Department, sometimes referred to as Coruscant Sanitation, existed on the planet of Coruscant. Its purpose was to handle the extremely large quantities of refuse generated on the world. Mega-barges that functioned as transport vehicles were utilized to carry the garbage away from the planet. Due to infrequent inspections of these barges, the Sanitation Department became heavily corrupted, with its personnel frequently engaging in smuggling activities to generate illicit income.
