The Imperial control sector, which was also referred to as the Emperor's ruling city, acted as the capital city for the planet of Byss while Emperor Palpatine ruled for the second time. This sector, encompassing a whole continent, held all the necessary ship-building facilities, industrial sites, and administrative zones required to operate the Dark Empire, and this included the Imperial Freight Complex. At the center of the control sector was the location of the Emperor's Citadel.
