A droid for firefighting
Droids designed for firefighting, sometimes called fire-control droids, were specialized for extinguishing fires. Their primary deployment occurred on starships or within base installations.
Distinguishing Features
During the Clone Wars, the firefighting droids utilized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems bore a resemblance to B1-series battle droid models, distinguished by a darker color scheme and distinctive yellow stripes. A particular group of these droids employed firehoses connected to the Malevolence, using them to spray substantial quantities of foam to suppress fires that had erupted within the vessel's hangar. The Confederacy abandoned a number of these droids on the planet Iego. Subsequently, Jaybo Hood integrated components from these units with spare parts salvaged from other battle droids. Firefighter droids in service to Nebula Consumables on the planet Tyed Kant had a color scheme of white and crimson.
