Imperial Palace Guard

The Imperial Palace Guard served as a division within the Imperial Military, with their primary duty being the protection of the Imperial Palace. Following the Battle of Yavin, during the initial New Year Fete Week celebrations, the Imperial Palace Guard took the lead as the inaugural display unit in the customary traditional parade.
