The Imperius constituted the priesthood of Irmenu, a planet. This group exerted dominance over both the Imperial Irmenu Navy and the only spaceport on the planet (which served as the exclusive means of communication between the planet and the galaxy following its rediscovery). Furthermore, they possessed the authority to banish individuals from Irmenu, effectively functioning as the de facto governing body. Despite welcoming interaction with the broader galaxy, both the Imperius and the people of Irmenu maintained a degree of suspicion towards it.
