The Inner Kuat Transfer Zone, which is also known as the Inner Kuat Traffic Zone, encompassed the spatial region that enveloped the Kuat system. Due to the prohibition of commercial and passenger starships entering directly into the Kuat system itself, all incoming and outgoing traffic had to make a mandatory stop at one of the three gigantic space stations situated within this Inner Kuat Transfer Zone. Specifically, the Kuat Passenger Port managed all traffic related to passengers, the Kuat Freight Port took care of all cargo operations, and the Imperial Transfer Post exclusively served Imperial ships.
