The Jabba's Throne Room, a club-bar located on Atzerri, operated during the Black Fleet Crisis period in 16 ABY. Its design was a precise recreation of the throne room belonging to the deceased Hutt crime lord, Jabba Desilijic Tiure, which was situated on Tatooine. While maintaining an authentic atmosphere and architectural style, the establishment featured slightly expanded dimensions to increase seating capacity.
The establishment's menu featured a diverse selection of dishes, notably including roast nerf. The staff of the club were all impersonators of Jabba's former associates, one being a "Bib Fortuna" doppelganger. The restaurant's patrons exhibited markedly better behavior when compared to those frequenting other dining and drinking establishments in the Trader's Plaza.
It advertised that it featured the original Max Rebo Band and was rumored to be like the Palace Museum on Tatooine. Jabba's Throne Room gave its customers the option to "Visit Jabba's Guest Quarters with a Pleasure Slave" and to "Face the Mighty Rancor in the Pit of Death." For many who had been victimized by Jabba, a visit to this establishment ranged from mildly amusing to deeply offensive.
Luke Skywalker made a visit to the club-bar in 16 ABY, subsequent to his purchase of the popular book, The Lost Secrets of the Jedi, from a branch of the Galactic Archives. Skywalker found himself entertained by the less-than-perfect rendition of the galactic gangster's imposing headquarters, but decided to stay for supper after hearing the surprisingly high-quality music and seeing the roast nerf. Skywalker was seated under a "frozen Han Solo in carbonite" and was given a drink by an "Oola" look-alike. He decided to leave after a Wookiee actor gave a disappointing Chewbacca impression, and was grateful he left before seeing the Leia impersonation.
