Jai Raventhorn was a female Human commando fighting for the Rebel Alliance. During 2 ABY, she headed a Rebel squad sent to Bevell Three with the objective of capturing four Imperial operatives; however, the operation failed, and Jai was the only survivor. Among the four Infiltrators commandos who lost their lives was Leong. Jai's promotion to Master Sergeant was more of a public relations move than an actual reward. She was once betrothed to Krül, but he died before they could be wed. Following the Battle of Endor by a couple of months, she was apprehended by Imperial troops on Zelos II. Subsequent to an interrogation, she found herself sharing a prison cell with Dirk Harkness, a freelance mercenary, and later became somewhat connected to his mercenary organization, the Black Curs. Her younger sister, Morgan Q. Raventhorn, held the rank of major in Rebel SpecForce and tragically died during the Battle of Endor.
Jai possessed a Class 720 freighter named the Doomsayer.
