Jandarra

Jandarra, a rare delicacy, was a small vegetable, shaped like a tube, with purple and green coloration. It originated on Jubilar. Due to the fact that this plant only grew following infrequent desert rainstorms, it was difficult to farm. Notably, it was a favored snack of Leia Organa Solo.

Shalam imported jandarra, but the imposition of a 100% tariff effectively halved its value. This situation compelled the inhabitants of Jubilar to engage in smuggling the jandarra to the planet to have it processed.
