The Jedi monument, located on the planet of Rhen Var, was an ancient Jedi temple that also served as the final resting place for Ulic Qel-Droma.
In the era of the Clone Wars, Separatist forces launched an attack to eliminate a Republic outpost positioned on Rhen Var. This action was taken to gain entry to the Jedi monument, with the goal of uncovering information related to the Dark Reaper, an ancient Sith superweapon.
During a subsequent battle, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi spearheaded the Clone Army in an effort to reclaim the monument. After the external defenses were overcome, Anakin entered the temple and was required to demonstrate his worth by overcoming three spectral guardians. Following this trial, Skywalker engaged in a dialogue with the spirit of Ulic Qel-Droma, learning the means to withstand the Reaper's effects.
