The diminutive Jenuwaa Sea was situated on the planet Kalee. It served as a battleground between the Kaleesh and the Yam'rii during the conflict known as the Huk War. In the midst of combat against the Yam'rii on Kalee's shores, Ronderu lij Kummar met her demise, and her remains were swallowed by the Jenuwaa Sea. As the war progressed, Grievous' shuttle was targeted by the Separatists, who detonated an explosive device on board, leading to the vessel's crash into the sea. Dooku ordered Grievous to be ejected from the shuttle's remains, and the Sith Lord retrieved his broken form from the frigid depths, preparing him for his transformation into a cyborg.
