Jerell and Bettle were stationed in a clandestine communications hub on Ralltiir, observing transmissions from Spike's New Republic strike force. During this time, Governor Graeber contacted Jerell, the resistance leader, engaging in a taunting exchange. Coinciding with this communication, Spike's team disabled the planet's power supply, and a squadron of six Mon Calamari Star Cruisers entered the planetary system. This sequence of events secured Ralltiir's status as the first Core World to be liberated by the New Republic. Jerell reveled in mocking Graeber, pointing out that he would be remembered as the first Imperial governor to greet the New Republic on Core World territory.
