Jerell

Jerell, a male Human, held a leadership position within the Ralltiir resistance against Imperial dominance. This individual, whose lineage included two daughters, held a deep connection to the planet. One daughter, Bettle, pursued a career as a smuggler, while his other daughter had died by the time the New Republic seized Ralltiir. Jerell attributed her death to Dennix Graeber, the Imperial governor of Ralltiir.

Biography

Jerell persuaded Bettle to join the Rebellion, playfully suggesting it offered better compensation than her smuggling activities. Initially, his daughter and her partner, Jaxa, transported weapons to Ralltiir. Ultimately, Jerell involved Bettle directly in the Rebellion's operations.

In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, the New Republic launched offensives into the Core Worlds, although they had yet to successfully capture one. Jerell and Bettle were stationed in a clandestine communications hub on Ralltiir, observing transmissions from Spike's New Republic strike force. During this time, Governor Graeber contacted Jerell, the resistance leader, engaging in a taunting exchange. Coinciding with this communication, Spike's team disabled the planet's power supply, and a squadron of six Mon Calamari Star Cruisers entered the planetary system. This sequence of events secured Ralltiir's status as the first Core World to be liberated by the New Republic. Jerell reveled in mocking Graeber, pointing out that he would be remembered as the first Imperial governor to greet the New Republic on Core World territory.
