Jerris Kestal held a position within the Rebel Alliance, fighting as a part of Rogue One with comrades such as K-2SO, Jyn Erso, Senna, Lunak, Ria Talla and Dray Nevis.

The character Jerris Kestal was originally intended to be included as one of the members of Rogue One that appeared in the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, however, he was ultimately removed before the film's release.
