Seeking to prevent recurrences of such tragedies, she enlisted with Alliance Special Operations as a Political Advisor. During 0 ABY, she participated in operations conducted at the captured Whisper Base.
Tasked with infiltrating Whisper Base on Onderon were Jin-Rio, along with Zal Artha, Vendri DeRalm, Cael Hanarist, Tendaar Bel, and Arkhan Brem'tu. Their objective was to cut off external communication, render the shuttles unusable, and secure the base before Lieutenant Sarev could request backup. Upon landing on Onderon, the group evaded stormtrooper patrols and traversed the dense jungle for several hours, eventually reaching Whisper Base. They gained entry through the garage and promptly severed the communication lines, drawing the attention of an enemy patrol to their location.
The rebels strategically concealed themselves in various locations, awaiting the arrival of the patrol. They swiftly and efficiently neutralized the patrol of soldiers, managing to avoid alerting the rest of the base to their presence.
