John Chapman

John Chapman, a British-American actor (born May 12, 1955), played a Rebel pilot in the briefing room sequences and the medal ceremony scenes of the film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. On his personal website, Chapman calls his character "Gil 'Drifter' Viray" and attributes the callsign "Red Twelve" to him; nevertheless, no official sources confirm the character's identity, and The Essential Guide to Warfare assigns the Red Twelve callsign to the character Puck Naeco.
