John Hollis

John Hollis, a British actor, was born on November 12, 1927 and passed away on October 18, 2005. He is known for his role as Lobot in the movie Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Additionally, Hollis portrayed the unnamed antagonist (believed to be Ernst Stavro Blofeld) at the beginning of the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981), and a Kryptonian elder in both Superman and Superman II. Science fiction enthusiasts also recognize him for his portrayal of Sondergaard in the Doctor Who story The Mutants (1972).
