Junix Nard

Junix Nard was a male Human. As the proprietor and bartender of Junix's Joint, a cantina situated in Anchorhead on Tatooine, he was a notable figure. Within his cantina, he also managed a modest shop, offering items such as pazaak cards, alongside various other merchandise.

Nard, sharing sentiments with many on Tatooine, viewed the obliteration of Taris by the Sith favorably, believing it "got things moving in the galaxy". His opinion of the Galactic Republic was equally disparaging, stating it was "about time someone kicked the Republic in the tail". Nard considered Tatooine to be an undesirable and insignificant planet with limited appeal.

The cantina, four millennia following the [Jedi Civil War](/article/jedi_civil_war], in 19 BBY, still bore the name of Junix.
