Juvex served as the governing capital for the Juvex sector and its surrounding territories. This sector was under the control of House Sreethyn, a group that participated in the slave market, preventing its acceptance into the Galactic Republic until right before the rise of the New Order. Later on, it became incorporated into the New Republic.
