K1-1R's master

During the decline of the Galactic Republic in its final years, K1-1R, a military droid, came into the possession of a certain person. This person then dispatched K1-1R on what was meant to be a fatal mission, but the droid, after his survival programming superseded his loyalty, deserted his master.
