Kajaka root was a kind of root that could be eaten. During the Clone Wars era, fried strips of kajaka root were a well-known food item consumed in the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant. It was prepared either by deep-frying it in Troogan oil or by slicing it and roasting it on skewers. Strono Tuggs featured a recipe for Roasted Kajaka Root within his cookbook, expressing his opinion that it was significantly superior in taste compared to the uninteresting flavors of typical root vegetables.
