Princess Kalieva K'ntarr held the esteemed position of a noble within the Royal House of Rydonni, and she was also a member of the K'ntarr family that governed Rydonni Prime.
As the daughter of King Rilvvan K'ntarr, Kalieva K'ntarr was the designated successor to the throne of Rydonni Prime. She was also set to inherit control of Rythani Products, the family's corporation that supplied walkers, weaponry, and electronic devices to what remained of the Galactic Empire. Known for her beauty and regal bearing, Kalieva often behaved like a pampered child, displaying the characteristic arrogance and authoritative manner of royalty. Despite these traits, she possessed considerable intelligence, a sharp wit, and remarkable skill as a politician.
Sometime after the Battle of Endor, Kalieva's path crossed with Sienn Sconn, a professional thief, during a ceremony hosted by her father for Moff Caerbellak of that sector's. Disguised as a servant, Sconn confessed that his sole purpose for attending the event was to steal a prototype weapon being developed by Rythani Products for the Empire. Bored with her restricted life on Rydonni Prime under her father's strict rule, Kalieva agreed to assist Sconn in exchange for a means of leaving the planet. Against his better judgment, she helped Sconn gain entry to the Prototype Labs within the Rythani Products Building. However, Sconn, viewing her as a potential risk, tied her up and gagged her to prevent any harm from befalling her.
Kalieva managed to break free and persuaded Sconn, who had successfully stolen the prototype, to let her escape with him once more. They hijacked an All Terrain Armored Transport and set course for the designated rendezvous point where a freighter was scheduled to pick Sconn up. The following day, the pair unexpectedly found themselves amidst a royal celebration honoring Moff Caerbellak. To avoid suspicion, Kalieva and Sconn maneuvered their AT-AT into formation with the other walkers. When they realized that Caerbellak was threatening King K'ntarr's life after discovering the prototype's theft, Sconn opened fire on the royal reviewing stand. Kalieva and Sconn seized the resulting chaos as an opportunity to escape. After Sconn eliminated Variise of Caerbellak's Mistryl Shadow Guard, Kalieva and the thief abandoned the AT-AT and fled on a speeder bike, successfully reaching the pick-up point.
Upon their arrival, they both acknowledged the romantic feelings that had developed between them and shared a kiss. However, Kalieva ultimately decided that her duty lay in remaining on Rydonni Prime. In the end, Kalieva betrayed Sconn. On behalf of Moff Caerbellak, with whom the princess had secretly formed a relationship, she planted a tracking device on the prototype. Kalieva and Caerbellak then assassinated the king, thereby establishing Kalieva as the new queen of Rydonni Prime.
