Kalzerian

The Kalzerians, a near-Human species hailing from the world of Kalzeron, were characterized by their distinctive gray, leather-like skin. Further distinguishing features included their black teeth and yellow eyes. Originating as a tribal society defined by a feudal system and a strong code of honor in combat, the Kalzerians had not yet achieved atomic technology by the time the Galactic Civil War erupted.

Following the Galactic Empire's conquest of Kalzeron, certain Kalzerians, for example the mercenary known as Azuroth Khell, aligned themselves with off-world resistance groups. Their objective was to acquire the necessary equipment and training to ultimately return to Kalzeron and initiate a triumphant revolution to liberate their home. However, before this plan could be realized, Kalzeron was liberated from Imperial control after the Battle of Endor, which resulted in the withdrawal of Imperial forces. Those Kalzerians who had ventured off-world were then deemed cowards by the resistance fighters who remained on Kalzeron, and were officially declared traitors by a formal decree from their governing council.
