The yearly Kanchen Sector Conference occurred on the primary world, Pakrik Major.
During the events of the Thrawn campaign, the capture of Xa Fel by the forces of Grand Admiral Thrawn enabled the Empire to establish dominion over the Kanchen sector.
Star Wars: Rebellion erroneously locates Vodran, Spuma, Munto Codru, and Nal Hutta within the Kanchen sector. In actuality, Vodran and Nal Hutta are found in Hutt Space; Spuma is situated in the Kwymar sector; and Munto Codru lies in the Outer Rim close to Mon Calamari. Furthermore, Rebellion incorrectly places the Kanchen sector within the Outer Rim.
