Xendor was a Kashi Mer who had been exiled.
The Kashi Mer, who were also known as the Kashi, were a civilization that made their home in the Kashi system.
The Kashi Mer's initial mention occurred in the roleplaying adventure "Relic," penned by George R. Strayton. It was intended for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game from West End Games and saw publication in the May 1995 sixth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal magazine. Strayton's 1996 roleplaying sourcebook, Tales of the Jedi Companion, later presented "Kashi" as an alternative name for the culture. Conceptopolis provided the first illustrations of the Kashi Mer for the 2010 book, The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force.
